Yes, there’s a way to do aruba right…

Aruba, a stunning jewel of the Caribbean, is a paradise that offers a blend of luxury, adventure, and relaxation. To experience Aruba to the fullest, start with the essential step of renting a jeep. This rugged vehicle is perfect for exploring the island's dynamic locations and accessing remote beaches. With the wind in your hair and the music playing (maybe even a custom 50 cent CD circa 2004), you can discover Aruba’s striking landscapes at your own pace.

While your girl loves a good resort, I found Aruba to be one of the most accessible islands for self-navigation. It’s small, easy to find your way around, people are friendly, it’s safe, and the deal you get on your own private oasis is just too good to pass up.

We know that opting for a vacation rental lets you enjoy a cozier, home-like atmosphere while providing the space you need for relaxation and fun with family or friends. Whether you choose a villa with ocean views or a charming casa tucked away in the lush greenery, this becomes your private sanctuary. Plus, having a kitchen means you can prepare meals with local ingredients, truly immersing yourself in the island’s culture. Stocking up at the local market is a delightful experience. Fresh produce, exotic spices, and traditional Aruban snacks will fill your tummy and sense of culinary independence.

With your house set and provisions sorted, it’s time to bask in the relaxing, island vibes. After a day of exploration, there’s nothing quite like returning to your very own pool, soaking up the sun, and sipping on a cocktail while watching the sunset over the horizon.

As much as we enjoyed the private villa, we didn’t want to miss out on some of Aruba’s iconic spots, like the Queen's Bath and the serene southern shores. The Queen's Bath is a natural rock formation that offers a unique swimming experience in calm, crystal-clear waters.

Venture further south to discover Aruba’s stunning beaches, renowned for their pristine shoreline and soft sands. Here, you can indulge in activities like snorkeling, paddleboarding, or simply lounging under the sun. With this perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, you’ll discover that doing Aruba right means embracing both its tranquil and exhilarating sides, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
